Mitt Romney's plan: Go big, go everywhere

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is grinding through the 2010 campaign state by state and district by district, adhering to a go-everywhere, never-say-no campaign schedule that will have recorded visits to 30 states before Election Day.

* * * * * *

Romney’s schedule is so all-inclusive that it barely looks like he’s picking his targets. In just the past few weeks, he’s campaigned for Georgia Sen. Johnny Isakson and gubernatorial candidate Nathan Deal. He made a Western campaign trip that included stops for Idaho Gov. Butch Otter, Utah Gov. Gary Herbert, Nevada House candidate Joe Heck and gubernatorial nominee Brian Sandoval, among others. He also made a trip to Florida on Oct. 1 to boost Rick Scott, who won an upset victory in the GOP gubernatorial primary over state Attorney General Bill McCollum – for whom Romney campaigned back in June.

Politico is just another liberal house organ that supports Democrats.

You are so spot on target.

Mitt Romney: "I'm not running as the Republican view or a continuation of Republican values.
That's not what brings me to the race.

(Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party
over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged
to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support.
Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates
wouldn’t make any sense at all.""

--  President Ronald Reagan

Mitt Romney: "I'm very clear I think, to the people across the Commonwealth
my "R" didn't stand so much for Republican as it does for reform.
"
(Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people.
It must represent certain fundamental beliefs
which must not be compromised to political expediency
or simply to swell its numbers."

--  President Ronald Reagan

I'm glad Mitt is helping get rid of some dems.

His version of health care in Massachusetts will (thankfully) keep him from being the nominee.

Ah, you beat me to it.

Go away Mitt! If you really want to run for POTUS, run as the pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-illegal immigration, pro-Socialized Medicine, DEMOCRAT that you are.

I have to imagine in this current atmosphere, that Romney will get the message soon enough...Right now, in this political season, the discussion of candidates running for Congress or Governor is going to pre-empt the serious considerations and attention required to run for President. It’s too soon for Romney or anyone really to be positioning - at least not till after the first Wednesday in November after the votes are counted.

So much polling to do...

If the mood stands - and I think it will - Romney will find he’s better off keeping his seat.

I don’t think Romney will be much of a threat to us in 2012. By then, Obamacare will have reared its ugly head to such a degree that anyone remotely connected to universal health care will become not just toxic, as in this election, but outright unelectable.

I don’t think Huckabee will attempt another run since the prison scandal so completely derailed him. If he does, they’ll just bring it up again and do him in. An out-and-out liberal like Rudy Giuliani doesn’t stand a chance of getting the nod after the conservative ascendancy this year coupled with John McCain’s miserable failure in ‘08.

Keep your eye on Newt Gingrich. He’s the one to look out for.

Romney has installed Baker as the GOP poodle in Mass.
and has AG Reilly (D) now on board. They are all
for RomneyCARE.

Is THAT “getting rid of dems”? I think not.

Were Romney’s continual attacks (through
his well-financed team) on Gov. Palin on Election 2008
eve “getting rid of dems”? I think not.

Now that Romney is a business partner of Soros (JET Blue),
Romney will be pushed even harder.
Is working with Soros and Reilly/Baker getting
“rid of dems” to you?

Go Now
Artist(Band):Moody Blues

We’ve already said ‘Goodbye’.
Since you’ve got to go
Oh you had better go now.
Go now. Go now. Go now
Before you see me cry.
I don’t want you to tell me
Just what you intend to do now.
‘Cause how many times do I have to tell you
Darling, darling,
I’m still in love
With you now?

We’ve already said ‘So long’
I don’t want to see you go.
Oh you had better go now.

Go now. Go now. Go now
Don’t you even try telling me
That you don’t want me to end this way
‘Cause, darling, darling,
Can’t you see I want you to stay?

We’ve already said ‘Goodbye’.
Since you’ve got to go
Oh you had better go now.

Go now. Go now. Go now
Before you see me cry.
I don’t want you to tell me
Just what you intend to do now.
‘Cause how many times do I have to tell you
Darling, darling,
I’m still in love,
Still in love,
With you now?

I don’t want to see you go
But, darling,
You’d better go now.
