The “elites” were and even today many are Leftists, Commies, Fellow travellers, or Dupes and were never going to be “charmed” as they pulled out all stops to protect the cells they had in place. Chambers proved how deeply imbedded the Commies were all the way up to hte White House. So, how many rational citizens think the cells all just dried up and blew away in the early 50’s?
