It’s probably too late for your family, since they’ve already watched the first season and bought the second, but if anyone were going to ask me whether they should watch this show, I would tell them not to bother (I watched the whole series). The first two seasons are pretty good, but all those mysteries that keep you intrigued? They will not be answered at the end. At all. The silly ending convinced me that the shows writers had no idea what they were doing the whole time - they were just making stuff up as they went. Supposedly, they knew what the final scene was going to be when they started the show, and I believe them, but that doesn’t mean that they had any idea of what they were going to do between the first and last episodes. The whole series was one of the biggest con jobs in television history, and most likely you and your whole family will be extremely disappointed by the time you reach the final episode.

I had absolute no desire to watch the series, but some wanted to, and so I obliged. After all, compromise is sometimes necessary.

I hate the series. After watching the first season I figured the writers were just, as you said, conning the viewers.

I sit and watch with the family because everyone enjoys viewing films together. So, I watch, and I don’t begrudge my family. At least some of them are enjoying themselves.

I just wanted to find out what happened to the characters, and what the overall storyline is.
