Respect must gained the old fashioned way Mr. Cottman.

Photobucket And how much respect did they show, President Bush. Why is it all those so called "principled" protests of the Iraq War immediately stopped when Obama took office; all despite the fact he had the exact same time frame for withdrawal? Because it's nothing more than a game to them...one which they sought to beat down Bush at every turn possible. Respect? Please! How much would our forefathers give Obama?

>> there is a question about whether LePage lashed out about Obama, in part, because he’s black.<<

Only in the mind of racists. For the rest of us it’s because he’s pure scum and working to destroy the fabric this country was founded on.

I fail to see who actually was cited as doing “the analysis”.

I also fail to see where the un-named analyzer ever stepped forward and did the same for other recent past presidents. If just the last president was “analyzed” using the same criteria and biases, an honest assessment would have to conclude Bush also did not get any respect - from the press, pundits, and the democrats.

This current Golfer in Chief still uses the former to blame everything he’s in charge of right that’s wrong, now. By contrast takes credit for anything that might be good. Anything bad, that’s the last guy’s fault. Anything good, you’re welcome, I did it.

President Barack Obama gets no respect.
Because respect is earned. You can't share that like you can with other people's money.

Sorry Obozo, you lose.

Respect is not demanded. Men COMMAND respect by their leadership and actions.

I will not call any Kenyan usurper anything other than a derogatory term.

If the Kenyan Clown decides to document his natural born citizenship clearly and unequivocally, I will then accord him a title in accord with the office he occupies.

But as for now, the Kenyan Clown is showing complete contempt for the American electorate by his refusal to demonstrate his eligibility to serve in office. I will only return that contempt.

“Obama Denied Respect the Office Demands”

To the extent that it is respect that the office of the President either deserves or “demands”, it is Obama that has caused the loss of that respect by his own actions and arrogance, something his worst detractors are simply acknowledging by how “distastefully” they speak of him.

I think Mike Cottman is one of Obama's buddies...I recalled reading some fawning articles, and when I did a search, this is what showed up in an article:

Michael H. Cottman, who took a turn in the press pool for BlackAmericaWeb.com, agrees. He told Journal-isms, "My impressions are based more on intuition than facts because I haven't seen Obama around many black journalists to make an informed assessment because major media organizations did not send many black journalists on the road to cover him.

"I'd like to think President-elect Obama seriously considers black journalists when requests are made for interviews, but my feeling is that Obama (and his advisers) also look for journalists who are fair and objective. In my observations, it appears that Obama, at least publicly, relates to black journalists in much the same way he orchestrated his campaign: walking a tightrope with regards to race ‚ ie not overly appealing to voters because they are black or white, and therefore not appealing to journalists because they are black or white."

Still, there will be expectations ‚ ie particularly among those who knew Obama back in the day.

"I think a lot of us in Chicago still have to remind ourselves to call him 'Mr. President' or 'President-Elect Obama' rather than just 'Barack,'" Miller said. "On Election Night right after his acceptance speech, I was waiting in the rope line to offer my congratulations, and when he finally got to me I said 'Congratulations Barack!' And then I corrected myself and said, 'Congratulations, Sen. Obama!' And then I corrected myself AGAIN and called him Mr. President. He gave me a break — he said, 'It's OK, it's only been a few hours!'"

As far as I am concerned, this opinion piece by this racist piece of crap is trash. He makes the assumption that people are against him because of his race. The people I know are hell bent against him not because of his color, but because of the color he lacks: Red, White and Blue.

Yeah, the way people are making movies and writing books about his assassination . . .

Oh wait. That was President Bush.

Never mind. (sarcasm, as if I needed to say it)

Because Obama is America’s first black president, there is a question about whether LePage lashed out about Obama, in part, because he’s black. Would LePage have told a white president, who was a Democrat, to “go to hell?”

Race card played.............no points.
