The local TV station interviewed Chenery last night. She is a lady. And she's still strong. She said that her father was in the business and had made quite a name for himself so when she stepped in she was called "the daughter." Just "the daughter." She said, "Yes, I was the daughter, but I could do it too." She said she particularly hoped that girls in the audience could see that if they wanted something and were willing to work hard at it, they too could make it.
A good message that little girls need to hear...
