Michael Savage has a "manifesto for saving America," and it will come as no surprise to his millions of faithful radio listeners that it offers prescriptions that aren't found in the House Republicans' "Pledge to America."
Savage's 37-point plan "Trickle Up Poverty: Stopping Obama's Attack on Our Borders, Economy and Security" by HarperCollins hits bookstores today with a call to "run the country like a business, not an empire; close the borders; institute a flat tax; use profiling to prevent terror attacks; and privatize the regulation of Wall Street;" among others.
"The more conservative points were left out of the Republican plan for America," he told WND in an interview. "They have no specifics about cutting back on government spending. They have no specifics on stopping the flow of illegal aliens."
While some tea party leaders have deemphasized or set aside abortion and other social issues, Savage tackles them head on, calling for a ban on the deadly procedure, with the exception of the physical survival of the mother as determined by two licensed doctors.

Awsome book. Just bought 3 books for presents. He is so wonderful!!
Over the years, I have found myself tuning him out for long periods. He’s a to helter skelter at times. At times just plain wrong. But I enjoyed his previous screeds. He’s a pretty good writer, and when he’s in the mood, has some pretty solid, conservative ideas. And no political correctness.
Both he and Levin get shut off immediately when they start emoting on dogs, however.
Savage's real name is Michael Wiener. He was a long time leftist/communist who graduated from the most liberal college in the country , Berkeley. Plus he has lived for a long time and still lives in San Francisco.
He is an actor, putting on an act for money. He is a lefitst mole.
I have seen him say things against capitalism, corporations, etc.
He even called for the Republican Speaker of the house to resign during the Foley media created October surprise.
I've heard him unfairly criticize Republicans daily, using liberal media talking points,.Weiner said Bush and Republicans spent and grew government like never before when most spending is mandated by democrat laws like social security and medicare etc. Also this "republican spending" was inflation over 8 years and 2 wars that needed to be fought and weren't government growth but WARS.
Years ago I listened to him occasionally. Even that got to be too much.
Nonsense. He’s erratic. But he’s no commie. He’s no liberal.
Yes! I turn off dogs and food. What I want to hear is “get these illegals out of my country” and “close the damned borders”!!! and after that == “cut the Federal government by 50%” and “get the hell out of these foreign countries!!!”. We are fricken broke!! BEYOND BROKE!!!
I actually like his stories about food.
I listen periodically and perhaps listeners can help me with something. Some times a guest comes on and it seems as it is a monologue of some topic and then Michael comes in, as if reading from a script (to a recording). Propaganda, no?
No wonder Savage donated to long time liberal democrat Jerry Brown. Proof that savage donated to democrat Jerry Brown. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1720425/posts
Strange bedfellows: It turns out that leftist mole talk show host Michael Savage is backing Oakland Mayor Jerry Brown for state attorney general. “What can I say? I think he'd make a great attorney general compared to the other guy. By the way, who is the other guy?’’ Savage said, when asked why he chose Democrat Brown over conservative Republican Chuck Poochigian. Savage, whose rants can be heard locally on KNEW-AM, is backing up his hot talk with some hot money as well. Savage Productions, which lists Savage as president and his wife, Janet Weiner, as director, has donated $5,600 to Brown's campaign. “You have to make choices in an imperfect world,’’ Savage said. “
He invites great guests to come on on deliver long pieces. I think they are pre-recorded though.
pingaroo
He’s even criticizing Republicans here saying their pledge to America is lacking. this is a hard core commmunist/socialist.
Look at his past and who he hung out with(communists) , and where he graduated from Berkely.
Look at who “Savage” donated to governor moon beam, liberal democrat Jerry Brown. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1720425/posts
He’s got the nationalist act down but he doesn’t know a thing about capitalism or limiting government or freedom.
Dude, your pissing in the wind. Not all conservatives are Republicans. In fact, most republicans aren't conservatives.
Here is proof Savage donated to liberal Jerry Brown and many freepers who agree with me:

He saw the money Rush made and is putting on a act. But he doesn't fool me. I am for deporting illegals but I'm also for limiting government and a long time capitalist, so every anti-capitalist (pro-socialist) statement Weiner made hit me like a ton of bricks.
We’ve all got our opinions, I reckon.
Too me it sounds as if one side is prerecorded and then MS inserts his comments at strategic points. Feels a bit forced.
True. But some of his guests are better than he is. And it gives them like a 5 or 7 minute uninterrupted avenue to tell their story.
Actually, Michael Savage donated to Brown after being at a fundraiser for a private academy where the man was promoting self help. He was moved, he donated. He didn’t hide it from listeners, and in fact admitted it openly, then talked against Brown when he came into his position and ruled like a lib....predictable to some...
Something about Savage has always rubbed me wrong. I share his outrage at the immigration disaster, and several other issues, but I just get the willies when I listen to him.
