In a stunning reversal, the Obama Justice Department has asked a judge to drop charges against a terrorist considered so dangerous by the government that prosecutors fought to deny him bail after his indictment. Suddenly, this week, the feds want the case dismissed against Sais Niazi who refers to bin Laden as an "angel" and is the brother-in-law of bin Laden's body guard. A federal grand jury returned a five count indictment against Niazi for fraudulently obtaining a U.S. passport and hiding associations with "Specially Designated Global Terrorists," groups including Al Qaeda and the Taliban. During one visit to Pakistan Niazi visited the security coordinator for Osama bin Laden. The Justice Department claims that a key overseas witness was "suddenly" unavailable to testify. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a front group for Hamas, has taken much of the credit.

IMHO, Darrell Issa is one of the best potential GOP candidates for national office. Too bad he’s being ignored and not given the recognition he so much deserves. He’s better than most of the “hopefuls” that are getting all the media attention.

I am totally lost over this-how can this happen?
Do we even HAVE a Dept of Justice anymore. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE IN CHARGE? IS ERIC HOLDER an AMERICAN? His history speaks of a constant drive to support the criminal and ignore his duty.
The inmates are now running the asylum. Holder began his sordid career supporting pardons for terrorists and international fugitives. We all know about the community organizer’s nefarious associations and background. Real investigative journalism of those in power has been replaced by a cheer-leading MSM. I think the only thing “we the people” can do is throw the bums out next month.
We were warned about this by our founding fathers, and the liberal democrats are making sure that warning was justified. In spades. Throw the BUMS OUT is a great rallying cry. I agree with ya. And, 'you betcha'!
I agree with you that “our enemy within” is our greatest threat. In his many volumes historian Arnold Toynbee studied this phenomenon of how such internal forces bring down nations. He even coined an epigram: “Civilizations die from suicide, not by murder.” Of course, there are always some internal threats but it seems that at a certain point these threats, in the aggregate, become a historical force that sort of take on a life of their own and change the dynamic of history. And Karl Marx may have fashioned an irrational ideology (Marxism) but his Ph.d. was related to the dialectic of history and he rightly stated, “At some point QUANTITY irrevocably changes QUALITY.” IMHO, the quantity of internal threats/enemies is reaching the tipping point.
