Marlet Spangler was robbed while visiting his wife's graveyard.
Marlet Spangler's wife, Norma, died seven years ago at 81.
Spangler, 92, misses her and just about every day, he drives to Prospect Hill Cemetery in Manchester Township to visit her grave. He usually spends a few minutes visiting her and then, he said, "he walks around looking at the graves, you know, monkeying around."
On Wednesday, just after noon, he was at his wife's grave when he heard a car pull up near his car. A moment later, a man in his late 20s or early 30s, had pulled a black revolver on him and was demanding his wallet.
"I guess I wasn't quick enough to hand it over, so he grabbed it, ripped my pants," Spangler said Friday in his Manchester Township home.

Such vial cretin.
I am glad I live in a country that does not require ID to be carried.
I just hope that I can still drive somewhere and monkey around when I’m 92...
My grandmother lived alone at the farm and drove her car until she was 96. She had a heart attack at 96 and the doctors said she could not live alone any longer. My wife and I spent every night with her (did not move in) and cooked her meals for a year when she was 96-97. She lived with my father for about 9 months and then in a nursing home for about 5 months. She lived to be 98.
Good pioneer farm woman. She killed her last rattlesnake in her flower bed when she was 96 (with a hoe). Many Texas farm women are that tough.
"Maybe that's his job, to go out and rob people," he said.
Just curious... is that a check in the column for "Job Saved" or "Job Created"?
Wasn't I just reading on here the other day how bad York has gotten? I believe it was a posting about Caterpillar is now going to be building equipment in China... I'd have to look it up and ping the person from York from that thread.
Caterpillar is also moving a plant to Texas. We welcome the jobs.
