Looking at the Limbaugh “smear letter” the other day, I was struck by how sad it is that the world’s greatest deliberative body is filled with dolts like Patty.
And yet, many think these deliberative dolts would make excellent presidents. There’s a reason why Obama is the pretty near the only person elected from the Senate to the presidency, while most presidents come from the governors’ mansions.
