Anna C. Little, the Republican challenger to Democrat Frank Pallone (D-NJ-6), today endorsed the Republican "Pledge to America" manifesto released two days ago.
In her endorsement of the 21-page document, Little said, "[T]he 'Pledge to America' is not just a governing agenda that will take power away from Washington and put it back in the hands of the people, where it belongs, it's a modern-day restatement of the principles on which our nation was established."
For too long, too many decisions have been made in Washington by political elites who don't seem to care what the American people think...Every decision that's made in Washington is a decision that's not made by individual American citizens - and when you add to that the fact that Washington elites don't seem to be paying attention to what the country wants, you just make the problem worse. That's not what our Founders wanted for us.
LIttle further suggested that Pallone and his colleagues could better serve their political fortunes "would spend more time listening to the people than to each other."
Little also shared the answer that she has given to national reporters (most recently from National Review and The Weekly Standard) who have asked her the "secret" to recruiting so many volunteers for her trademark "ground assaults"saturation canvasses of a town in which a hundred or more volunteers walk the streets, knock on doors, and explain Little's candidacy and positions in person.
[T]here's really no secret at all - people everywhere will help if you just listen to them, and respond to their needs. They're coming out to help our campaign because they know that in doing so, they're actually helping build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Little is conducting one such "ground assault" at the time of posting, in the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, according to information available on her Facebook page.
Separately, the Election Day Tea Party organization listed the Little-Pallone contest as the first of the "Top 50 Races YOU Can Help to Win." The 3rd District race between John Adler and Jon Runyan, the only other New Jersey race on the list, appears in 44th place.
Anna Little caught Frank Pallone napping. I hope it’s too late for him to turn this around.
Lightweight pledge. I would like many agencies abolished. Regulations and Federal rule eliminated and Liberation of the Free Market from the Dungeon of Socialism.
I think ONE Of the parties is going to come out and LEAD asking their colleagues all to take a PAY CUT. THIS would show me that the Pres. Obama is really serious about fixing things. He and all of the cohorts in Washington DC are over paid. YOU GET paid good, when you do a GOOD job. If the numbers are down...THEY NEED TO TAKE A CUT, now come on that’s the way BUSINESS is run in the USA.
Baby steps, FRiend... Baby steps...
Notice how Anna Little consistently talks about taking power back from Washington and returning it to the individual citizen. She is on the same page.
Anna Little’s motto: “Little Government is Good Government!” - You gotta love that!
I think you are right about that. There is no way he is going to beat Anna Little's ground game. Frank Pallone had a good run, he fooled the people for a long time, but his time is over!
Pallone piss off the DoD workers of Ft Monmouth. When BRAC was announced in 2005 his office was shown that the DoD had the wrong cost data when the decision was made to close Ft Monmouth and move it to Aberdeen Proving Grounds in MD. Other facilities in the US fought the decision with proper data and had BRAC decisions changed. The NJ Senate and Congress did little to fight it tooth and nail. Reason - real estate developers were salivating at the land on Ft Monmouth that can be developed into MacMansions. By late 2007 panic struck these weasel politicians, the real estate market was about to tank and the local mayors were about to be stuck with federal lands while the promise of developers to build new homes evaporated as housing market started to tank. Pallone is about to reap what he sowed. Instead of doing the right thing he did the wrong thing and now it has caught up with him. Hope Little will kick his axx good on November 2.
The Fort Monmouth fiasco may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
One good thing about the collapse of the real estate market is that the developers no longer have enough money lying around to purchase the entire NJ government.
Pallone brags about being the Architect of Obamacare!
Well, at least he used to. Then he saw his poll numbers tanking. I think he’s in the Witness Protection Program now, for all he speaks in public...
I went to the Town Hall Pallone had in Red Bank last year. I couldn’t get in because of the crowds. If even half the people show up to vote this bum out of office, he is TOAST!
