So if a guy near Ft. Worth grows some zuchinni (Ok, maybe a lot) and sells them to a guy in Dallas, does the fedgov have any jurisdiction? My common sense, straighforward reading of the Constitution and founders says 'NO!'

So if a guy near Ft. Worth grows some zuchinni (Ok, maybe a lot) and sells them to a guy in Dallas, does the fedgov have any jurisdiction? I'm not a lawyer, but that does sound like interstate commerce to me. Which would mean the feds can claim a right to regulate.
A lawyer once told me that the courts have interpreted the commerce clause so liberally that virtually everything is interstate commerce.
