I’m fitting it in along with “Crimes Against Liberty” by David Limbaugh, but I can only take that in short doses because it infuriates me to the maximum.
I will generally check out a book that sounds interesting but I don’t follow any particular persons recommendations.
I'm sure O'Neill knew a lot about Able Danger--but Louie Freeh came down hard on him for some silly screw-ups, and he decided to retire from the FBI and take up Silverstein's offer to head up security at the World Trade Center. He started his new job just days before September 11, 2001.And he died trying to get as many people out of there as quickly as he could.
And--yeah--reading some stuff in that book really got me angry--especially how the Saudis blocked so much of the investigation of the Khobar Tower bombing. I took it a little personal, since my son (Army--MOS Patriot Missle) was living in that complex when the bomb went off. His windows were blown in, but he wasn't hurt--but he said the whole thing was so gruesome!
The Clinton administration's treatment of the intelligence they got re OBL is so SHAMEFUL!. All that mattered to Bubba was keeping a lid on the Lewinsky affair so his could save his sorry--legacy!
Just hope we don't have to"absorb" another 9-11 to wake people up to the need to put national security ahead of "diplomacy" and politics! But then--I forget. We have Dear Leader in charge--so why worry.
SIGH!!!
