That’s irony!!! Another job loss caused by Democrats!!
Watch Stephen Colbert lose his fan base and his show because of this fiasco!!!!.
I've been in Commercial Construction for Forty Years now (engineering side) and like them or not, the 'union guys' who build those Hi-Rise Buildings earn every penny they make.
There isn't one "Easy Job" in any of the trades. And I'm no pro union hack. When I was 'coming up' I hated those "overpaid a-holes".
(given the situation then, they were "overpaid a-holes" compared to me. the Nixon 'wage freeze' hit me hard, but didn't touch them)
I could see him as Speaker come November.
I don’t have a problem with Union Workers. My dad was a transportation salesman. Worked for many trucking companies. He always went back and shook the hands of the Teamsters. Fine men!
The Union bosses and their thugs are the problem.
That's a fact. Most Union members are just like us(1). My next door neighbor started in a new Trade *a while back*, Pipefitter. He's a bit old for a 3rd year apprentice but they needed the money and it's a better job. Anywho he has the same interests as me, Collecting Guns and Photography (to me its more than a hobby, I shudda went Pro) and he ain't no lib, he frowns when he mentions his union.
(1) Except for that SEIU which is full of sewer rats.
Sorry for the tardy reply. I was reading up on my new Nikon DSLR. There's more 'tricks' to it than just what's in the manual. I can do 'in camera', what I'd need a Lab to do with 35mm film (or slides), amazing technology. But that's why it's a Nikon ;-)
Ooooo! A new toy!
How fun!
