Most of the proponents of war with Iran seem to have a purely opportunistic and hypocritical view of the UN. They attack it whenever they disagree but positively love enforcement of UN resolutions, such as the recent ones on Iran.
They might object to the hypocrisy too if they were not stuck paying through the nose for the option. I personally would rather we were out of the UN and it were off our soil. We’d do better to keep what we pay into that rat hole and negotiate through embassies & diplomatic mission, but since we’ve got to pay what we do then I think we should use them to any advantage we can.
