Former Bush-era UN Ambassador John Bolton has teamed up with the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition to launch the "Election Day Tea Party" this week, an effort to galvanize voters in districts where a Republican candidate could potentially unseat an incumbent Democrat.
Michael Patrick Leahy, founder of the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition, told TPM that Bolton "shared common values" with the Tea Party Coalition, then "asked us to participate in the project and we were very happy to have him support it."
The Election Day Tea Party site lists "The Top 50 Races YOU Can Help to Win," pointing out both the Democratic incumbent and the Republican challenger. "These incumbents," the site says, "in many cases voted for both the Stimulus and Obamacare. Of the 435 races currently underway for the control of your seats in Congress, these are the 50 contests where your individual efforts can help the challengers win."

And he’s well known because the Dems hammered him.
Bolton is no Mitt Romney, but I guess he will do.../s
He was on Red Eye last night and was a lot of fun — showing us a different side of him. So where’s the election day party — I’ll bring the chips — you bring the dip?
Good, at least we will get some vigorous debate instead of chitchat when the race heats up next year .. Even in a VeeP slot, he’d be dynOmite!
I don’t think he will run.
But payback is a beautiful thing in this case...
Good!
I love John Bolton!! He really knows how to drive the dim’s nuts!!
I love Bolton and hope he is our next president.
There are many things I admire about him. Among those things, he hates the UN as much as I and many others.
He wants to get us out of that den of crooks.
Only if we can get the dip out of the White House...
Oh - you mean THAT Dip — No No don’t bring him.
I don’t believe he can pull off the President position but for sure would make him Sec. of Defense.
Bolton should be named State Dept Czar with his focus being to clean out the leftist deadwood and replace them with patriots.
It really makes me feel encouraged to see Bolton taking a leadership roll in Tea Party efforts. God bless him.
I’m with you all the way. I love the guy. My foreign hero is Benjamin Netanyahu.
This should be priority #1 of the next truly American administration! We the People want the U.N. out of the U.S.! All of this corrupt world governance bullshtick is coming out of the immensely crooked committees of the U.N. and the core of the U.N. itself!
I would become incredibly energized if Bolton increases his profile and runs for President in 2012! He’d mop the floor with Obama or whomever the Dims put on the ticket, and I would truly believe everything that he says on the stump. McStain was so entrenched in the GOP and DC politics that he came across as disingenuous.
The `Stache will stir things up. For sure...
Or Secretary of State.
He should definitely be our next Sec. of State or Defense!!
He’s so much better than any of the other “professional foreign policy” types that produce Albright, Holbrooke, Condi Rice, et al.
Maybe he could be over BOTH State and Defense!! ;^)
Ref post #16.
Unfortunately, I will never be asked for my input. But here would be my input:
To begin with, Reagan had some treaty, which I dont recall what it was, but he didnt like it. He told his folks to rip it up. And someone whiny said, but Sir, you have to give two years notice. Reagans reply was, RIP IT UP ANYHWAY..NOW.
Getting to the problem, should Bolton become president, he should give the UN personnel 24 hours to leave the U.S. As of immediately, their diplomatic immunity will be revoked. Those who owe money to the United States or individual states for parking tickets, etc, will be detained and jailed if necessary.
The UN building will then sold on e-bay.
