WASHINGTON -- A "deeply disappointed" supporter put President Obama on the grill yesterday at a town-hall meeting, telling him that he hasn't lived up to hopes, that she's grown exhausted defending him and that she is fearful about returning to the "hot dogs-and-beans era" of her life because he's not helping the financially strapped middle class.
"I've been told that I voted for a man who said he's going to change things in a meaningful way for the middle class. I'm one of those people, and I'm waiting, sir," Velma Hart told Obama.
"I'm waiting. I don't feel it yet," the mom and Army Reserve veteran continued.
"And I thought, while it wouldn't be in a great measure, I would feel it in some small measure."
Hart, the chief financial officer for the veterans group AMVETS, was among the roomful of businesspeople pressing Obama for answers at a televised town hall in Washington sponsored by CNBC.

This buy-in for November of 2008...has come to a full circle. You’ve got most of the independents who now question their vote entirely and wouldn’t vote for the President again. You are starting to notice that even some Democrats are questioning their position. For those who were around during the Carter-Reagan situation...it’s fairly similar in nature.
I think this is a one-term situation now. No matter what happens in 2011...this is pretty much wrapped up as a repeat of Jimmy Carter.

Funny, all of our predictions have come to pass. This guy is everything we warned people about X 10. I used to (during 08 season) get into an argument almost daily at work about this bozo and the risks involved with a triple-D government. He was so great, why not give him a shot? Now, I can say ... I can’t find a single person who voted for him. Only thing I can figure is they all got laid off or went back to college.
