Broken clock, blind squirrel: the NAALCP gets one right for a change.

Bureau of Narcotics chief Harry Anslinger actually testified before Congress in the leadup to the passage of the first federal marijuana prohibition law in 1937 that it (marijuana) makes 'white women have sex with black jazz musicians'. In this case, unlike so many others, the NAALCP's accusation of racism vis-a-vis pot prohibition is spot on.

Harry Anslinger has been dead for 35 years.

Do you really think what he said back then is relevant today?

We know much more about narcotics today, how they work, why you like them, etc.

He was feeling around for reasons ~ we don't need to do that anymore.
