You would most probably get in trouble with the EPA for polluting that stream. And then you'd have wet clothes. Many areas don't let residents hang their clothes out on clotheslines, so they're forced to use electricity to dry them.
What we need is a law that a person must wear the same outfit to school or work for a whole week before washing it. And wash them with water recycled from a bath or shower (twice a week max), after that to be used in the toilet. (relax, I'm kidding <^..^>)
