Good article. I intended to respond to the original report of Holder’s remarks but never got around to it.
The important thing to remember is that unless “global warming” is in fact the issue, there is no reason whatever for concern over CO2 emissions.
Truthfully there is no reason for concern even if there’s mild warming, the benefits far outweigh the consequences. Further, we’ve basically been in a warming trend since the last Ice Age, and that will only level off on a long-term basis as we start sliding into the next Ice Age. None of which has anything to do with human activities. Only fools would believe the climate (or the ecosystem for that matter) remains in a constant state for long, or that humans can somehow make that happen.
Finally, there are some actual, real, and very interesting scientific phenomena occurring with the Sun. All signs point to thirty or more years of solar-induced cooling. The Sun looks to be in a grand minimum at least as strong as the Dalton Minimum. That’s certainly been shouted from the rooftops, hasn’t it...? LOL
No wonder the warmists are panicking...

Climate disruption can cover both temperature increases and decreases. It also covers drier or wetter seasons, colder or hotter weather, cloudier or clearer days, anything dealing with weather no matter how trivial,

I thought the liberals had already changed “Global Warming” to “Global Climate Change”. Shouldn’t they be announcing “Not enought people freak out at the phrase “Global Climate Change” so we are changing it to “Global Climate Disruption”. Stay tuned to see what they change the name to in a couple of years.
