President Barack Obama’s moratorium on deepwater offshore oil drilling has been quietly fading from the front pages, as the effects and news coverage of the Gulf oil spill have tapered off. One could almost argue that the spill and the moratorium aren’t even national news stories anymore; they’re of purely local interest now.
So perhaps it’s on one level understandable that the administration, personified in a report entitled “Inter-Agency Economic Report Estimating the Economic Effects of the Deepwater Drilling Moratorium on the Gulf Coast Economy,” is touting the fact that since the moratorium went into place in late May, “only” 8,000-12,000 jobs have been lost.
This is a win, the administration says, because other predictions - like the one by the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association which said 33,000 jobs would be lost as a result of the moratorium, forecast far more dismal results. The administration’s own halfheartedly-assembled numbers which projected job losses numbering 23,000 or so were worse, for that matter.

There is absolutely no logical rationale for Obama’s moratorium other than to harm the USofA ... but hey, that’s what Obama and his Merry Marxists are all about.

Drilling engineers and oil workers have been replaced by folk on welfare sweeping up tarballs on the beach.
Sure there are jobs. What kind of jobs? Instead of productive work, we have more taxpayer dollars going to clean up a mess for which Obama is largely responsible.

Some weeks ago James Carville was highly critical of Obama. I bet now he is hotter than Tabasco.
The cold arrogance of these people is absolutely chilling. If I had the chance, I would slash the government with a scythe like the Angel of Death. This administration is at war with the private sector and they need to be brought down.
Simple fix: NEUTER HIM BY VOTING OUT HIS HENCHMEN IN CONGRESS THIS TIME then SEND HIM PACKING IN 2012.
Of course, if he can’t come up with that birth certificate, he’s probably not going to run.

This is what happens to people who sell their souls to become something that will boost their egos, then the payment become due and when they are used up nobody will give them the time of day and their so called friends will tear them to shreds.
Then prosecute Obama for fraud and keep the prosecutions going to get Pelosi and others who perpetuated this total fake.
