The money part of the Breyer quote is where he tossed off the line that this issue will be taken care of by a few cases:
“Yes. Well, perhaps that will be answered by- if its answered, by our court. It will be answered over time, in a series of cases, which force people to think carefully. Thats the virtue of cases.”
In other words it won’t be made illegal to criticize Islam in on fell swoop, it’ll just take a few cases to set de facto precedent.
No fuss, no muss.
So.... Justice Breyer thinks that if an example is made of a few of us, the rest will fall into line and be silent about criticizing Islam.... out of pure fear.
That, sir, is fascism. Breyer might as well wear a NSDAP lapel pin (as did many Nazi judges in the Third Reich).
