Rep. Amo Houghton is leading a revolt of Republican moderates against President Bush's $1.4 trillion tax cut -- a move that could doom the centerpiece of the White House domestic program for this year.

Houghton, of Corning, and Rep. Mike Castle of Delaware told House Speaker Dennis Hastert on Thursday that the 11 House GOP members -- including Rep. Jack Quinn of Hamburg -- "cannot"support either the tax cut or the fiscal 2004 budget that Republican

Looking through the archives, it seems Castle is not only a RINO, he might as well have a "D" behind his name. He not only voted to investigate Bush, he opposed tax cuts as well. At that, I can't find an instance where he actually took a Conservative position.

Thanks for posting these old pieces. Castle is a liberal, plain and simple. Why TF anyone claiming to be a conservative would support this limp d*ck in a PRIMARY is beyond all reason.
