Think about it, a small time backwoods preacher in Florida simply threatened to burn a koran and the islamic world riots and kills. Spengler postulates that Jones has shown the way to fight, and perhaps defeat, islam without firing a shot.
Islam is a religion that has never been challenged theologically. It has no central authority. It is riddled with sects and philosophical inconsistencies. The author rightly states that these facts make islam ripe for exploitation by outside intelligence services who could use these inconsistencies to turn moslem against moslem.
Interestingly, the author thinks that Americans, because they believe all people are like themselves, are particularly unsuited for this task.
