President Obama on Friday defended the Democrats' healthcare law, saying the enormous expansion of insurance coverage made an increase in healthcare spending inevitable.
"As a consequence of us getting 30 million additional people healthcare, at the margins that's going to increase our costs - we knew that," the president told reporters during a White House press conference.
"We didn't think that we were going to cover 30 million people for free."

Keeping the cost of care per person constant is not the same as treating new people “for free.” Obama is either disingenuous or stupid. Of course if you cover more people your overall cost will go up ... but it appears that the cost per person covered will go up ... “we knew that.”

Obama is doing just what he planned with the economy. His goals are in sight. Everyone will either be employed by the government; dependent on the government or a lamp shade.
New regulations continue to penalize business. Obama Care has a new accounting nightmare, that requires a 1099 for all financial business transactions over $600. Another idiotic new degree by Obama is that you can't use criminal records in hiring. This directly conflicts with State law that makes an employer libel if he hires a felon.
