We do not read much about how the twin towers will be rebuilt, just that larger and higher tower or towers are being built in a Muslim country, and a Mosque to be built in the shadow of where the towers once stood to mark the skyline of New York City.
When is Mayor Bloomberg going to rebuild the towers? Or is he too busy getting a Mosque built? What about rebuilding the Greek Catholic Orthodox Church? That church was there and was damaged by the Muslims. There are 100 Mosques already in Manhattan; none were damaged by the 9/11 terrorists.
Or is religious tolerance only for Islam?
First of all, it isn't up to Bloomberg to "rebuild" the towers. Second, it was clear shortly after 9-11-2001 that the twin towers were never going to be rebuilt. Too many victim's families objected, on the grounds that the footprints of the towers were now "hallowed" ground. Additionally, many didn't seem to have the guts to rebuild them.
What is being built is a single tower 1776 feet tall, which is well under way at this point (36 stories so far). See the link below for more details.
