Instilling paranoia about the rewards of living in civilization helps break down civilization, but the normalization of homosexuality will break down civilization much faster and more violently. Therefore, these risks must be ignored.

This is liberal logic, at least among the intellectual power stations of the movement. Few will admit it, though.
