On the same day the president announced to the nation from the Oval Office that the combat mission in Iraq had ended, the Obama administration, unbeknownst to most of the country and the world, held a special workshop for 25-30 Muslim leaders from 20 national Islamic groups (under the leadership of the Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations) to provide the groups "funding, government assistance and resources."
