Islamabad - A delegation of Pakistani military officers has abandoned a trip to the US after being mistaken for terrorists and ordered off an airliner. The eight officers, led by a two-star Navy rear admiral, were on their way to a meeting at US Central Command. They had boarded a United Airlines Flight from Washington to Tampa on Monday but were taken off the aircraft because of comments made by one of the men, according to an airline spokesman.

“but were taken off the aircraft because of comments made by one of the men”
What did the guy say? If he is talking jihad BS, he shouldn’t be allowed here.
Somewhere, a RADM is in an O Club, getting drunk.
“Pakistani officials said the officer, weary from the journey to the US, had said, “I hope this is the final plane to the destination” causing a female passenger, who believed he was threatening the aircraft, to panic
“officials said the officer, weary from the journey to the US, had said, “I hope this is the final plane to the destination” causing a female passenger, who believed he was threatening the aircraft, to panic.”
Sounds like a jumpy woman if thats all he said. Guess i should actually read the story first.
Maybe, but the Paki military is full of Jehadis, their enablers and their apologists.
"Reports said Mohammed al-Madadi, 27, had smoked in a toilet and then joked about setting fire to his shoes."
T'ain't funny, McGee.
What about the six Muslim imams who were removed from a US Airways flight at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport? Was it a "dry run"? Some kind of test?
Also, all over the U.S. citizens have been booted for some remark that may have been misinterpreted.
IMO the men are not owed an apology.
Question here....why would the Pakistani military come to the US? I think that alone is odd.
Because they're our allies in the War on Terror. Didn't you know that?
How do we know it was a mistake?
Really, for real. If there was something to discuss, why not discuss it in that region where we have a lot of military stationed.
If you were Pakistani and you were on a government paid junket where would you want to go, Kabul or New York?
I’ll buy that, thanks.
They should have been Gitmo´d.
