Will the MSM bother to point out that Bush's surge strategy made this Obama self-congratulations credit-stealing possible? Funny how the economy being a mess is all still Bush's fault, without Obama having the least ability to show a single Bush policy that made it so, but Iraq having come this far has nothing to do with Bush's policies. This classless prick Obama will say nothing about Bush's Surge strategy having made this possible as he claims somehow he "kept a campaign promise" all of his own accord, forgetting that it was Bush's Iraq Framework negotiation in 2008 that set the withdrawal date to begin with. Obama had next to nothing to do with any of this other than being there when it all finally came to pass.

He'll mention Bush, alright, but it will be to blame something on him. Hope the troops boo him.

Generally, I would expect to hear no "Hoo-rahs" from our troops tonight.

Lines you won’t hear in the speech:

“The troop surge worked in Iraq.”

“George Bush signed the initial agreement in accordance with Iraqi authorities to leave Iraq.”

“I was completely wrong about the efficacy of the troop surge.”

Someone will have to tell me what he says. I have to rearrange the sock drawer.

Lets hope that Billy the Exterminator or NFL Replay have something to offer during OBOZO’s reading of a teleprompter. I often wonder if Rahm masterbates while watching OBOZO read his words?

Obama has an enormous opportunity here to alter the current political dynamic, which bodes more than a little ill for his party in the November elections. He can also avoid permanently confirming the suspicions of those who think he is incapable of self-doubt, unable to ever admit having been wrong, and stubbornly unwilling to offer credit to another.

If he stays true to form, Obama will happily take credit for the Iraq troops coming home on schedule without ever directly mentioning the surge strategy that made it possible, nor his opposition to it, nor the name of his predecessor, who promoted it. The result will be politically disastrous if it turns out that this man cannot surmount his own ego, if only for a few minutes and for the benefit of his party.

A buddy of mine is convinced that he will take another swipe at President Bush-as he did often on Sunday in New Orleans-by saying something like
“ This is not Mission Accomplished as there will be more set backs along the way...”
Barry is a self aggrandizing, mean spirited little man
who is incapable of humility and graciousness ,
so I expect his usual self worshiping speech , but,
I don’t think he’d be that petty.
But, then again, it’s Barry , so anything slimy and low down is completely possible.

Obama says his speech won’t be a “victory lap, or self-congratulations.” That tells you he thinks he has something to congratulate himself for when he had next to nothing to do with this milestone, and in fact tried to do a lot to hinder its realization. The guy is actually acting like Patton rolling into Nazi Germany.

0bama’s speech will be the usual rooster congratulating himself on a wonderful sunrise oration while in full TOTUS mode.

Oh, I think it’s going to be an apology - to Iraq for having invaded in the first place. That’s why he called President Bush - to let him know he was going to throw him under the bus.
