On the Laura Ingraham Show today, Laura played an audio of Palin endorsement in NH for Senate Kelly Ayotte, declaring that she would have given the thumbs up to Sotomayor. Shocked me. Supposedly she is quite similar to Lindseed Graham.
Her opponent in the primary is a solid conservative. Ayotte is the RINO that Judd Gregg has endorsed for the seat he is vacating.
So why does Palin pick on RINO Brown?
She is convinced that supporting others will lead to support for her. I’m not against that in principle. I still belive you need to be discerning.
I believe she has gotten some bad information in some cases. In others I think she used less than optimal judgment. I think a certain person who thinks of himself as an elder statesman has interjected his views too, and she has accepted them on face value.
I continue to believe that John has a very corrosive political impact. It’s only natural for relative newcomers to think of John as a man who has been around long enough to be taken seriously as a mentor, even if he is unqualified to be anything of the kind for Conservative prospects.
This does seem to indicate some inconsistency on her part. I don’t fully understand why she has chosen to take the stands she has. Like you, I just try to make some sense of it any way I can.
I wish I were better at it, because there are a number of things that don’t make sense to me at all.
Take care...
I’m sure he’s Mittster’s protege and a fake. Which means he’s probably way more liberal than he’s letting on. (Especially if he admits to being a Massachusetts republican.) Any conservative near him will need to watch his or her back. I fully expect some votes from him in the Senate that will make Snowe and Collins of Maine look like Strom Thurmond.
