dude, the Mass Senate is like 45 DEM, 5 GOP. Who do ya THINK he worked with each day at the capitol?
RE: but like Obama, Scott Brown is nothing but a fake.
He did promise to vote against Obamacare though and that got him the vote. The VERY SMALL consolation is we got him as the lesser evil. The alternative would have been an even bigger disaster.
As Curly (of the 3 stooges) used to say when asked -— “Choose how you will die, by beheading or by being burned at the stake” ( both dreadful alternatives ).
Curly : “Cut my head off”
Executioner : “Why?”
Curly: “Beause I prefer cold chop to hot roast. Nyuk, nyuk”
...
Halfway across the river, the frog suddenly felt a sharp sting in his back and, out of the corner of his eye, saw the scorpion remove his stinger from the frog's back. A deadening numbness began to creep into his limbs. "You fool!" croaked the frog, "Now we shall both die! Why on earth did you do that?" The scorpion shrugged, and did a little jig on the drownings frog's back. "I could not help myself. It is my nature." Then they both sank into the muddy waters of the swiftly flowing river.
I like Scott Brown’s ‘NO’ vote on Elena Kagan.
She says he's from MA where the people don't hold their rep's as accountable as the people in Alaska hold theirs.
Who sold himself as somewhat of a conservative.
The red flags should have gone up when his wife didn’t appear until after the election.
Senator Brown deceived almost every single voter
who he lured by claiming to be conservative.
Brown is nothing but an Obama-supporting, Sharia-supporting,
lying politician who stole the PEOPLES SEAT.
He did not even vote with the GOP after getting in office.
Hopefully, the public will remember this during his
future re-election, and remember that “to Brown” the electorate is to lie to them, like Scott Brown has pioneered.
i think we should send some of the stooges on here to MASS with the mission of electing a conservative or GOPer to anything. We can check back with them in about 30 years to see how they are doing.
Scott brown will vote with the right about 75-80% of the time. He is from one of the most liberal states in the union...what more do you expect? Anyone who thought Scott Brown would be a true conservative when he got to Washington was kidding themselves. I said it during his campaign and it was as true then as it is now. The alternative was Martha Coakley who would be a vote for the left 100% of the time. Which would you prefer?
what I don’t understand this sort of argument is that it assumes ALL republicans are moderates in blue states, when they could all be very conservative. By electing a moderate you’re basically ignoring your conservative voters. Thats why republicans in blue constantly lose, because the conservatives refuse to come out and vote
I don’t see that Sarah dissed Brown. She simply stated the truth, and some people are interpreting it as a diss, trying to make much ado about nothing. Kinda reminds me of what give em hell Harry said.
It’s Massachusetts. Who cares?
Seriously, it took a bazillion years for them to dig a 1.5 mile tunnel, and loads of federal dollars to boot. Some workers ACTUALLY STARTED CAREERS IN CONSTRUCTION AND RETIRED working on that project.
It’s a horrible state.
NO THEY DON’T, FORCANEE!
I understand your frustration, but put this in perspective:
This used to be TED KENNEDY'S SEAT.
That's huge, and the context is important. From an unabashed Communist (TeKen) to a RINO?
Heck, I'll take it.
As far as I am concerned, Scott Brown is a vote for Senate Majority Leader. And really very little else beyond that.
Brown is a McCain/Grahamnesty kind of republican. In other words, he ignores the party base and worships the elitist, country club ruling class.
YOU are right on, dan. it takes a Virginia patriot to understand Massachoosie politics.
He’s RINO from a state that elects the likes of Ted Kennedy, John “effin’” Kerry and Barney Franks. Thats a significant improvement.
Scott Brown Will Vote With Democrats.
From above link: "Scott Brown says he has already told Senate Republican leaders they wont always be able to count on his vote."
I heard him say this before the election and that is all anyone needed to know.
If I am not mistaken all his votes so far have been with the Democrats.
