Exactly. At least in his situation saying nothing is above the level of McCollum in Florida. McCollum issued a statement today that not only refused to endorse Scott but he also went on a binge of impugning his integrity to boot. I guess this is what happens when an outsider takes down one of the Ruling Class.

I get my tv online thru a FL station. The Scott/McCollum ads were as low on both sides as any I’ve heard. That said, McCollum DID make the traditional courtesy call, then issued his broadside.

I don’t know the details of the Scott affair, so can’t judge. BUT I would remind folks that it’s taken years for Tom DeLay to be cleared, all the while scandal hanging over his head and ending his Congressional career, because of over-eager prosecutors.
