‘Burn the Quran Day’ Plan Prompts Warnings of Anger, Unrest Wednesday, August 25, 2010 By Patrick Goodenough, International Editor
SNIPPET: "(CNSNews.com) – The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has joined the growing condemnation of plans by a Florida church to burn copies of the Quran on the 9th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.
A spokesman for the Jeddah-based bloc of Islamic states expressed concern Tuesday that the planned action by the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville would stir up “anger across the Muslim world and provoke unrest.”
The OIC said it hoped the U.S. government would “take appropriate steps to protect the sacred religious sentiments of Muslims of America and of the Muslims across the world.”"

People burn stuff other people don’t like seeing burned all the time: the flag, bibles, their bras. It’s the stuff you have to learn to put up with in a free society.
The United States didn’t acquiesce to the demands of Germany and Japan 70-years ago, we certainly shouldn’t live in fear of people never invented toilet paper.
So, where does one purchase a koran?
Until the OIC and other so-called moderate Muslim organizations condemn the attacks on 9/11, I say burn the Qu’ran.

As a citizen, I believe that Christians have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country. And that includes the right to treat a book of worship that is their private property as they see fit, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America. And our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country and that they will not be treated differently by their government is essential to who we are. The writ of the Founders must endure.
Ummm, ask the US gubmen’ to p’tect the ko-ran... Wouldn’ that be an abridgmen’ of the 1’st ‘mem’nant?
If I could find a ultra soft version in mega roll size, I could wipe the shiite off my a$$.

Should someone sponsor a national burn the quran day? I vote for puting it in a cheap tupper ware filled with crap and urine, after all, there`s no fire hazard there.
And Pastor Jones has proven his point, that Islam asks for tolerance but is itself intolerant.
You want to discredit the quran, and fight islam...just read from it. When people hear what’s in there, we win.
