Where I was coming from on a base level was the duplicity they hide behind and manipulate with while trying to run it through right under our noses and the sheer arrogant intentions of fooling around in strange territories when they don't even know what the rules are. There is knowledge intended to remain as Mysteries, and for very good reason.
