TSA’s New Hands-On Policy
Personal Liberty Digest | 8/25/2010 | Bob Livingston

Posted on 08/25/2010 5:53:24 AM PDT by IbJensen

If you are flying out of Boston’s Logan International or Las Vegas-McCarran International airports you can expect the heavy hands of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to come down on you.

The TSA has just implemented a more aggressive palms-first, slide down body search technique to properly feel up airline passengers. The new policy replaces the formerly-used almost-as-intrusive back hand patdown.

It’s not enough that TSA agents get to ogle your naked bodies — and those of your kids — via the naked body scanner machines. If you refuse to subject yourself to the radiation of the backscatter naked body scanners you must go through a metal detector and then have a TSA agent paw your most private parts. And if you do subject yourself to harmful radiation and the TSA ogler behind the curtain notices something unusual, you still get to enjoy a full-body mauling.

Frequent flyer Justin Griffin summed up the apparent mood of today’s traveling public when he told the Boston Herald, “The most important thing is to have an effective patdown. If using the back of the hand is less effective, then security trumps niceties.”

Line up sheeple. The herd moves this way. Don’t ask questions; just do as your “benevolent” government demands.

Not flying out of those two airports in the near future? Not to worry. This is just a test as a prelude to implementing the policy nationwide.

We can only guess what the next “safety” procedure will be. Naked flying, anyone?

More proof that the Republican Party isn’t going to get the job done. They are just too self-interested to worry about doing what’s best for the citizens.

GOP ‘leadership’ is too worried about their hair, hair pieces, tans, golf game, teeth whiting.

I would be interested in what the USSC says about a Terry patdown by non-law enforcement. Remember, TSA are federal employees, not sworn FLEOs.

I'd throw a damn fit if I or my family got a pat down....that's what the scanners are for.

Im so sick of this, I may go in partnership with some friends for a Cirrus.

This must be a violation of your Constitutional right to fly.

If I cannot drive there, I am not going there. End of story.

Pretty much...we can thank Bush for going-along-to-get-along with the Congress commies on this one. Just one more step in the journey to ‘where are your papers’.

Unless you are an illegal alien. Then no one can ask for your papers. Maybe we should work on developing accents.

Before 9-11 no one could imagine being essentially stripped searched in order to get on a commercial flight either. Itll take only 1 or 2 terrorist attacks to start doing the papers thing. All the while the fed is crapping on us our borders will remain unguarded.

The problem is.... at least here in the Southwest, that it won’t be much longer until we can’t freely drive. I already feel like we can no longer freely travel in our country. Gave up flying to avoid the jackboots, but lately driving isn’t much better.

Not only are the cameras watching us everywhere, even in the small towns in AZ now, we have border checkpoints that aren’t at the border, scattered around the big and small highways. And mind you, the cameras don’t do a thing about foreign nationals, they can speed and run red or yellow left turn lights with impunity.

We have to submit to questioning by the BP about our destination plans, our reasons for traveling, obtrusive questions about why we are traveling, dog-sniffing, trunk searches, all in the primary line.

All of it a sham just like with TSA. The smugglers and coyotes know where these checkpoints are and have ways around them. So instead, American citizens are lined up like sheep, all getting us accustomed to papers on demand.

That’s exactly right about illegals.
It applies/applied to red-light cameras (which run all the time despite denials that they only flash certain people), Nappy’s infamous Big Brother cameras that thankfully just came down in June on the state highways, 1070 of course, etc. etc.

Nah, the secret is to wear a lead-lined burkha.

What kills me is that people have so dutifully lined up as ordered by the renegade govt. What happened to all the “never again” stuff???

We now have to remove our jewelry, belts, shoes, basically stripped of dignity if we’re trying to look half-way decent while flying. Oh, I tried to resist by not removing my shoes (and being polite about it), but then I was patted down every time by some disgusting low-life. Never in trouble with the law in my life, now treated like a criminal dare I fly.

As disgusted as I am about doing this, I’m sickened that our older and elderly folks are treated this way.

I’ve only flown if absolutely necessary (weddings in Hawaii or funerals) the last few years, maybe once a year. But with more invasive strip searches and radiation coming up, I won’t be flying.

And as far as “flying not being a right” that some sheeple say, fine then stop subsidizing it, TSA, etc. with our tax dollars. I was only flying Southwest which, as far as I know, never took govt money and is still profitable. They are the only ones I respect. Too bad I have to go through a prison line to get to them.

Borax Queen, you are absolutely correct in your observations.

It is much easier to hassle a businessman or businesswoman wearing a suit and driving a newer Lexus than it is to chase genuine criminals.
When I observe folks unfortunately waiting in line at roadside stops to have their credentials examined by police, it is virtually 100% caucasian clientele.
This is the same reason typical, law-abiding, tax-paying, local, regular people get busted for driving 6 m.p.h. over the limit when there are plenty of REAL criminals running around.

I hear ya!!! However, youll get any number of ‘law and order’ knot heads & kool-aid drinkers on this board who will call you all manner of names b/c you dont line up and submit happily. The TSA is a child of both corrupt/worthless parties. Like I said its only a matter of time (short) until we’ll be required to show our papers.

Then you'll be demonized, branded a terrorist, mainstream media will assuredly affiliate you with "racist" Tea Party members, and you will then land in jail. Good job.
