He said he needed 50,000 to win, it looks like 50,000 won’t do it. Turnout looks high for primary if 35,000 have voted and only 27% has come in. That’s 130,000 votes so 65,000 looks like you need for the win.

Hopefully Joe can get there

I read they are having a couple of ballot initiatives that would bring out conservatives, I think parental consent on abortion and another similar one.

Looks like recount territory. 2k separation on 130k votes? He’ll need to win by 2.6 k to guarantee a win. So he’s a bit behind the pace.

Great news! It's a nailbiter and Miller is ahead of the incumbent by the slightest of margins. Let's pray it holds up. A Miller win would make up for the rest of the disappointments this night.

Those many freepers will argue otherwise until they're blue in the face, Murkowski is far more worse than McCain is on his worse day. She has the worst voting record of any incumbent GOP Senator up this election cycle, and that includes when it comes to "important" legislation where we "need" her on our side and she betrays us.

Miller replacing Murkowski would move that seat significantly to the right. Idealogically, Murkowski seems like a slightly more conservative version of Stephanie Herseth Sandlin. Campaign on conservative rhetoric, then give aide and comfort to Obama on the theory that "a flawed bill is better than nothing at all"

Miller's already way ahead of where he was supposed to be.

Trying not to get my hopes up too much.

He’s on the top end still of recount territory. 3000+ margin on 150k voters. Huge turnout.

Trends hold.

Sampling works.

If you don’t believe me, next time you are sick and go to the hospital, ask your doctor to take ALL your blood for testing, just to be sure.

Joe has won.

1/3 of the vote in and he leads, it is over.

Praise The LORD Jesus!

Well...the people I voted for here in Florida won...so I am a happy camper.....

Seeing Mac pull it out in Arizona was a bit of a downer.....

I would like to see Miller pull it off, otherwise tomorrow the liberal media will declare “THE END OF THE TEA PARY & THE END OF THE PALIN EFFECT”

Here in Florida, all precincts have reported, the GOP is very active compared to the Democrats.

For the Governor race the GOP had 1,282,490 total votes cast. And Rick Scott won by 3%

In contrast, the Democrats only had 862,757 total votes cast. With Sink winning in a walk.

That is a 20% bump in the GOP favor. The other statewide race for the US Senate, was the same 20% or higher bump.

Florida is no longer “PURPLE” we are RED again!!

The other thing is there are two ballet measures to be voted on.

One of them is a Parental notification which could be turning out the votes for Miller.

I have no idea what the other one is.
