Someone needs to remind Ron Paul that this nation has been battling Islamists since the Barbary Pirates seized US sailors.
Got an idea for this moron, Go to iran and tell them that you want to build a Christian Church there.
Stupid must go all the way to the bone.

“No. Blame liberaltarians.
Especially FReeper libs.
Seriously - any minute now the libs are going to show up on this thread to defend this whack-job and their pro-muzzie veiwpoints.”
Yes a couple threads back one came at me with the there are good Muslim’s mentality. They are around even in here!
No you can't. Nothing in atheism called for any of that.
Totalitarianism, and the desire for leftists to control the population.
Just because you don't like a certain philosophical perspective, it doesn't mean you can blame everything in the world on them. That is a total trap that lets the individual off the hook.
Of all the dumb-azz things Ron Paul has said, this tops them all, hands down

Oh, I disagree. Look at the posts in # 32.
Paul is on a roll with his liberaltrian idiocracies.
Hey, great point.
This would be the slightly equivelant to building an Aryan nation meeting house next to the Lorraine Motel in Memphis; where MLK jr was shot-—or on a mass slave grave.
Ron Paul...dumber than a bag of rocks. What a stupid analogy.
Atheism and nihilism INEVITABLY lead to worship of the State, and all power given to the State,
because with these philosophies,
the collective society becomes “the greater good”. The individual human is devalued as reorganized pond scum, an accident of “evolution”, and not worth anything in comparison to the perpetuation of society and the State.
What a waste this man is, 35 years in office FOR WHAT EXACTLY...please retire and make room for someone who will actually put it to good use.
Paul and McCain should go play goof.
All violent jihadees are Muslims. All Muslims are not violent jihadees.
Please please please give us a way to tell them apart before limbs start flying.
Not much of a comparison.
McVeigh was coincidentally a Christian. Christianity was not his purpose in bombing.
Not sure which is more disturbing: Ron Paul so totally backing the Islamic Terrorists on the 9/11 Terrorist Shrine......or Fox News Channel’s Saudi ownership arm (Prince Alwaleed bin-Talal) kicking in 100’s of thousands of dollars to the Terrorist Shrine?
Probably Fox News supporting the Terrorist Shrine....because so many on here will give MS FNC a break and make excuses for them....but not for Ron Paul
I’ve supported some of Dr. Paul’s economic positions in the past; but he has lost his frickin’ mind on this one...you have a wonderful family, Ron...go home and spend some quality time with them.
I think you have this wrong. The “middle eastern man” turned out to be Michael Fortier the accomplice who got released in 2006.
“On this thread....
Ron Paul: I dont believe for a minute that the religion of Islam is our enemy.
there were plenty of libs defending their liberaltarianism while trying to distance themselves from Paul.
And I challenged every last liberal one of them to state for the record that Islam is in fact our enemy.
None of them would.
I wonder why in God’s name Jim Rob tolerates liberals on his forum. I guess they contribute pretty well to the FReepathons.”
The liberals hate this country to the point of supporting a mortal enemy..
This has went way past rational thought into a disease.
My only defense of FNC is this - it's a public corporation and it can't dictate who may or may not buy its shares in the open market.
Yes, bin-Talal has been given a number of audiences with Murdoch and his executives, but bin-Talal is one of, perhaps the biggest, individual shareholder. This kind of management/shareholder dialogue is unavoidable.
I would be open to a conversation about the Federal Government limiting even stock ownership of American media companies (they already prohibit controlling interest - I believe). But, short of additional Federal regulation, there's not much Murdoch can do about who owns large chunks of his company.
