QUESTION: Does the Hand of Loki exist, and is it guiding Democrats towards complete and utter ruin?

The Ground Zero Victory Mosque and the wake-up call it’s giving regular, typically non-political people, could very well prove to be one of the defining moments in our lives…and the Left never saw it coming, and still doesn’t realize the inescapable trap it finds itself in.

Frankly, we’ve been waiting for something like this to happen for years, and sometimes can’t believe America’s luck that it’s FINALLY here…an event that exposes the Left for what it really is, so nakedly and plainly, that Democrats have an Emperor’s New Clothes moment and are revealed for exactly who and WHAT they really are. It’s the lizards on V having their masks ripped off, without realizing they’ve been exposed, and not knowing it will take generations for them to fool the public again.

At every step along the way in handling the fallout from Islami’s push to build a conquest monument at Ground Zero, Democrats have made the wrong moves and consistently side against the American people, proving how out of touch they are.

And not just Democrats in elected office, but Democrats in our state-run media too.

All of these professional elite, ground-thinking, America-hating Leftists are united in pushing for this Ground Zero Victory Mosque. They are squarely at odds with over 70% of the American public. They are fracturing Democrats’ own support along the traditional Democrat voting block lines, because black voters, Hispanic voters, gay voters, and women voters may be successfully played against each other or otherwise manipulated by the DNC on a regular basis…but when it comes to 9/11, and the thought of a Victory Mosque being built there, a good many of these typically blind-party voting Dems are waking up to the reality that the party is not what they thought it was.

The democrat, progressive, liberal, leftist, dimwits, are doing themselves a huge amount of damage and the dimwits don't even realize that they've got a losing hand no matter what they and their frinds in the media try to do about it. They're basically trying to beat the horse to death, drag it back into the barn, and claim that the barn door was never open to begin with.

Thankfully, it's not working, they've shown their true colors as the authors of this article point out.

Meanwhile, back in what’s left of the real world, the budgets continue to be busted and the crooks in government and the financial industry continue to get off scot free.

They think they have a winning hand in playing this as a freedom of religion issue, but it’s nothing of the kind. It’s a War on Terror issue and since they don’t believe in or support the WOT, they don’t understand the objections.

“God works in mysterious ways.”

And we can only hope and pray that this is the beginning of the US returning to the God that this country was founded upon.

When all your thinking processes are predicated on a “reality” that is based on lies,

you can’t help but screw everything up in your conclusions and decisions on courses of action.

Well, I'll believe in the train wreck after it happens. My wife's brother and his Jewish wife don't see what all the fuss is about. They think we are all just a bunch of reactionary Islami-phobes.

IMO, the majority of Dems that vote will walk into the polling places this fall and pull the handle along party lines. Even if they don't agree with the mosque (oops, it's now a "community center"), they are pathologically afraid of right wingnuts taking over the country.

The Hill Buzz group are largely Hillary supporters?

I love their stuff and they are really good. I wonder if they still support Hillary because she is up to her neck in this State Dept dhimini stuff.

I think a few people naively thought the Clintons might try to stop The Imam for self interest and maybe a little for America. They are no better than The Imam.

I am a Buzzer, the Boyz were/are Hillary Democrats, who saw the fraud, intimidation, and Chicago thuggery of Duh Won as the primaries were being stolen from HRC. On youtube search ‘We Will Not Be Silenced’ by GiGi Gaston (which has been featured on Fox News amongst others).

Anyhow...the site owners of HillBuzz, are five young Gay men who trully love America and despise what ‘Dr. Utopia’ is doing to our Country. They are excellent essayists and have come to be fierce, strident supporters of Gov. Palin (who they saw receive the same ‘treatment’ press wise as HRC received.)

Your wife's brother, and probably even your wife, and maybe you as well, have never looked up Peace of Westphalia ~ which is well worth some study.

It comes at the END of the Thirty Years War.

That war had some economic elements, and some political elements, genocide in Germany AND religious conflicts ~ but not quite along the lines imagined ~ which is demonstrated in the outcome and the treaties that make up the Peace of Westphalia.

Two big things came out of those treaties. The first was the creation of some standards for what we call "the modern nation state", and an agreement to no longer use the religious goings on of a neighboring state as a rationale for war.

This agreement is the basis for the FIRST AMENDMENT.

The SECOND AMENDMENT grows out of the history of the conclusion of THE RELIGIOUS WARS, which occurred in the 1500s in France. The THIRD AMENDMENT grows out of the understand of what Louis XIV of France did to eliminate religious freedom and tolerance in France. (BTW, the Third is NOT about King George ~ what little housing of troops in private houses was done in time of war ~ the Revolution itself ~ and the Third provides an exception for such actions).

Jews, Orthodox Christians and Moslems did not sign on to the Peace of Westphalia. Not even sure they were invited, but over the next 4 centuries the principles of Nation States were extended to the whole world in one form or the other, with their final culmination in the United Nations (as agreed to by the United States, the earlier League of Nations being more in tune with peculiarly European ralities and thus not at all popular in the United States).

There, four centuries of history regarding Freedom of Religion ~ and at the end of all that time the Moslems have not seen fit to recognize it even among themselves, and barely among their nations. They remain prepared to attack and make war on other nations on account of religious disputes.

And the Jews? I think they were mostly in Eastern Europe, or Russia, at the time, or in North Africa, and they just didn't incorporate the principles of the Peace of Westphalia in their world understanding.

They should have though. If these principles had been in effect in the 1400 and 1500s they would not have been persecuted to the same degree. Spain would not have been able to simply kick the Jews out into Morocco, France, Italy, England ~ !

It's worth noting that Hitler totally repudiated the Peace of Westphalia with his attempt to create the Third Reich, an EMPIRE of just the sort that'd been broken up several times in the Thirty Years War(s).

So, next time you have a get together, haul out the Manichevitz and set down to go through a copy of the treaty (available in whatever language you want) and see who signed the various treaties that make it up. It's complex.

It has no Jews, no Orthodox and no Moslems, and yet it repudiates virtually all the principles upon which Orthodoxy and Islam agree constitutes a valid state (in the eyes of God or Allah) (and maybe agreed to by Jews?).

Knowing that, it means that the American historical understanding of religious freedom is incompatible with Islam.

So..... does the full article ever get around to making a point? Not that I have any interest in what it is, but I felt kinda sorry for that poor, aimless excerpt wandering around bumping into things.
