So, bloggers are catching up with the “real” media. You know. Paid hacks. Like Katie Couric.

Makes you wonder if the money the Saudis are using to buy into American news media is “influencing” coverage of Islamic theocracy and middle east foreign policy.

A GOP blogger-for-hire estimates that at least half the bloggers that are out there on the Republican side are getting remuneration in some way beyond ad sales. And the veracity of a blogger that would sell their soul is?
I could say that the figure is closer to 0.00001%, but then my credibility on the matter would carry about as much weight.

From
Slate:
Teachout named two prominent bloggers in particular: Jerome Armstrong of myDD.com and Markos Moulitsas Zuniga of Daily Kos. "On Dean's campaign, we paid Markos and Jerome Armstrong as consultants, largely in order to ensure that they said positive things about Dean. We paid them over twice as much as we paid two staffers of similar backgrounds, and they had several other clients," Teachout wrote.

I’ve sometimes wondered how many here might be getting paid to tout their “choice”.
Then again, there are useful idiots who are availabel for free on both sides.
