Well, what does the Koran say about playing golf? Is it permitted to a Muslim, or not?
The Sultan of Johor (aka Sultan Iskandar, aka Muslim King of Malaysia) beat several of his caddies senseless, killing at least one. Apparently golfing is allowable for adherents of Koranic teaching, but caddying might be a wee bit more dangerous under the same conditions.
