“I cannot speak to what God he prays to in his private space. I cannot judge him for who he worships but all the signs show that he has a very soft spot for the Islamic world.”

I take Obamah as his own word, "My muslim faith".

I don’t know that Obama kneels in prayer in the direction of Mecca five times a day, but I do believe his PERSPECTIVE is Muslim. He was indoctrinated early on, had no real Christian teachings to sway his belief system otherwise. So yes, in that regard, I do think he’s Muslim.

It has nothing to do with the significance of one faith over and above another (though as the President of a Christian nation, it would be nice if we could count on having a President who IS a Christian)

Here’s the problem:

How can we respect or believe a man who cannot even be straightforward and consistent in the avowal of his faith?

• Is he ashamed of his faith?
• Has he no faith?
• Is he professing one over another and alternately, when politically expedient?
• Is he SO spineless and immature that he sees NOTHING wrong with his equivocation on something as basic and fundamental as a profession of faith?

The pushback from Americas is not about who muslims pray TO...it's about who they PREY on.

Most all terrorists acts in the past decades have been perpurtrated by muslim males, 18-24 years in age.

Just before they complete their dastardly deeds, they shout "Allah Akbar", which their version of a prayer to allah...like the Ft. Hood massacre.

By doing so they are killing people by the thousands in the name of their god.

That doesn't sound like any "religion" that mainstream America wants any part of, whatsoever.

They pray to a god who demands that infidels - that's anyone who is not a muslim - should die.

So, Brigitte, given those little facts of life, it DOES matter who one prays to...even obama.

And it doubly matters who he prays to in private, because that would be his real choice, and not one for the cameras.

I believe you are absolutely right in your perspective about Obama’s beliefs. “Train up a child in the way he is to go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Obama’s whole upbringing was not the typical traditional American norm, so why would he act like it?
