Don’t Tell Palin, Here Come The Death Panels
Investor's Business Daily ^ | August 19, 2010 | David Hogberg

An earlier Capital Hill post examined the Independent Payment Advisory Board created under ObamaCare that will recommend changes to Medicare payments in years that Medicare exceeds set spending targets and noted that “historical evidence suggests that agencies like the IPAB will be ineffective or harmful.”

The Food and Drug Administration may be giving us a preview of things to come with IPAB. Currently, the FDA is considering whether to withdraw approval of Avastin, a drug that helps extend the life of breast cancer patients.

The evidence suggests that Avastin extends the life of women with breast cancer by 31% to 36%. But, according to the Wall Street Journal, “Critics claim these effects are worthless because they translate into only one to three extra months before tumors worsen.”

Worthless to whom?

Wordless, perhaps, to the government bean counters who think the drug is too expensive relative to the benefits.

The DemonRats certainly do want to get rid of sick older grandmas and grandpas.

We need them to vote. It’s a matter of life and death.

For many election cycles, the DemonRats scared seniors by telling them the the Republican wanted to take away their Social Security. It was always a lie.

What is not a lie is that the DemonRats have cut Medicare $500 billion, seniors like my dad cannot see certain doctors now, and the DemonRats will take away their healthcare. That is now an undeniable fact.

Nobody needs to tell Palin. She already knew it; she called it; the left went berserk over it because the truth hurts.

The Rats are no longer content to butcher the unborn, now they are coming for the elderly.

An overabundance of the folks who work at FDA live in Northern Virginia or quite near Bethesda. They have real names, live in homes and apartments, have kids, shop at various health food stores, drive cars, and appear in public. They work as administrative support for the "death panels".

The people who constitute this particular "death panel" are from around the country.

In considering demonstration opportunities, it's pretty difficult to go to just one area ~ e.g. Northern Virginia ~ to find them. You'd need to find the others in various other locations around the country, and if you were to be successful you'd probably have to have a number of partners.

Now that doesn't mean you can't get your message across. Virtually all of these pukes have university connections AND, best of all, they have privileges at various hospitals.

You can look for them by name, ID all the places where they do their medical business, then look up their e-mails, or any public blogs they may have joined.

Their secretaries and correspondence specialists will be happy to read your messaes and you might even get a reply.

Now, what to do if you can't get across to these guys?

The answer is we have to go after their bosses in the Regime, and in Congress. That is coming up this November!

Wish I could find that image someone posted a while back of a smiling Obama flanked by two green eyeshade accountants facing a little old lady with the caption: “Good news Martha, my accountants and I have decided that you don’t need that silly old heart surgery.”

It’s really nice to talk about health care in the sense that it is free, can be paid for with other people’s money and there is enough to go around for everyone....

but that’s just plain wrong.

There is no way that the government can make good on its promises regarding Medicare and SS.

The Rats are no longer content to butcher the unborn, now they are coming for the elderly.

And ironically, many of those elderly are the same people who, in their younger years, championed "the right to choose."

Now I have a question for them: how does it feel to be on the receiving end of "choice!"

The “death panels” have been coming for a long time, we have just been pretending they weren’t. And there have always been ways around them, if your doctor knew how to work the system and was willing to do it.

Obamacare makes it almost impossible to get around them. Your doctor will just tell you “we’ve done all we can” and that will be the end of it. He won’t tell you, “we’ve done all we can do from the menu of treatments allowed to you” but that will be the truth of it.
