Chicago - Jurors who handed down a single guilty verdict against former Gov. Rod Blagojevich have said there was one hold out who kept them from convicting Blagojevich of one of the most serious allegations: that he tried to sell an appointment to the U.S. Senate seat once held by President Barack Obama. Sources tell CBS 2 News that the holdout juror is Jo Ann Chiakulas, a retired state employee. She used to work for the Illinois Department of Public Health, had been a director of teen counseling for the Chicago Urban League

Damn straight. Sounds like she should have been dropkicked during voir dire. Unless — frightening thought — she was one of the least unqualified fish in the jury pool...

This article says on only 25% of the time, she was the lone holdout. They now print her name, for what reason? It seems threatening to me. The libs want Blago to be convicted and go away, so that Obama etc are safe. There seems to be a concerted effort to make this about one woman, when accordng to the foreman, MOST of the time, it was 7 to 5 or 5 to 7 etc.

I recall that most of the time, when Blago was discussed in the media, he was nuts or a crook- and this was Dem operatives talking. They want him gone. Now, the media is doing the bidding of Obama etc in trying to find a fallguy, and trying to taint the future jury pool by implying it was a slamdunk case, but for a lone, nutty juror. I hope everyone can see what is going on.
