The GOP should take this up as a bill and put Obama and the Dems on the other side of another 70-30 issue heading into the 2012 elections.
The GOP won’t take this up, because they will fret about overreaching and getting that 18% mad at them.
And I’m not joking. Even on issues like this (where the country overwhelmingly supports it) the GOP insiders will listen to the MSM medai pundits and beltway advisors about “going easy” so as to not get people upset.
Here is another one... why is it in 2010 that every action the government takes is in the MINORITY....? How many actions or in-actions are taken up for the smaller percent of the voter populous. Something is terribly wrong here.
