Minn. GOP on Dem women: Who let the dogs out? By Paul Schmelzer 8/17/10 8:41 AM
Heres the kind of discourse that Republicans in state Senate District 56 are interested in: The party website is now running a video about how hot Republican women are compared to Democrat [sic] women. To the strains of Tom Jones Shes a Lady, the video runs through a series of photos of GOP women in bikinis, evening gowns and, in Sarah Palins case, Spandex. Then the Dems: women like Rosie ODonnell, Janet Reno (pictured), Nancy Pelosi and Madeleine Albright set to the song, Who Let The Dogs Out?
Update: Ive emailed the two women endorsed by the SD56 Republicans, state House candidates Kathy Lohmer (56A) and Andrea Kieffer (56B). Ill publish any comments I receive. Ive also contacted webmaster Randy Brown for his comment (the post in question was bylined by Randy).
Update: Candidate Andrea Kieffer, calling the video juvenile, says shes requesting the video be removed. Brown, the sites webmaster, says he published the video. Why? [I]ts only intention was to bring a smile to a few peoples faces, and possibly irritate a few others. Is it fair? Does that matter? It wasnt intended to be fair. It was intended to be funny.
Update: The video has been removed. Heres a screengrab of it in place.
Call me immature but I find it funny as heck.
This is sophomoric at best, and plays into the hands of the DemonRATs.
Please, lets get out of the gutter and focus on the anti-Americanism, pro-Islamo-fascism, free-fall spending, Liberty constraining, lowest-common-denominator policies of the RATs and the damage they are doing.
The reason everyone is so outraged is that IT IS TRUE.
phuny!
nazi pelozi, ba ba boxer, mad max et al
bark alot.
You need a laugh every now and then to get away from everything you stated. If we lose our humor we become Democrats.
Playing nice is how we lose. There is nothing morally wrong with fighting dirty or hitting below the belt when it comes to politics, nothing.
I would not mind it if a Freeper made and posted such a video. but it needs to be kept out of campaigns.
Well, yes, but the RATs will paint this as “sexist”.
Conservatives have made a lot of inroads with women in the last few years. Hate to see that compromised.
We can get our laughs lampooning RAT policy.
In fact, we don’t even have to lampoon it. It’s ridiculous from the get go, and it is HILARIOUS watching them running around in circles, not knowing whether to halt or catch fire, trying to determine whether to support President 0dinko’s support of the GZ Victory Mosque or persecute their beloved Senate leader Harry Reid for coming out in opposition.
I haven’t had this many laughs in ages!
It was very funny, especially Rosie O’Dumbell’s head on KSM body. Don’t think all the “Republican women” were necessarily Republicans.
Sophomoric agreed, but uncannily true as well.
How is this fighting dirty? It’s not fighting at all.
You don’t think the Democrats can find some knockout liberal women and some unattractive conservative women and do the same thing?
This is stupid and moronic.
And if we aren’t fighting for a fair, just, honorable nation, what is the point of our fight?
You want us to fight unfairly for fairness, unjustly for justice and unhonorably for honor.
No. I refuse to.
In my humble opinion, the physical and psychological attributes of the Demonrats collectively and perfectly represent their perverted policies and ideology.
bump
Well said, bears repeating:
“Playing nice is how we lose. There is nothing morally wrong with fighting dirty or hitting below the belt when it comes to politics, nothing.”
The Democrats have us beat hands down when it comes to ugly people. At least the ugliest consevative's ugliness stops below the skin level, Democrats are ugly clear down to the bone!
Youtube now has an age restriction on watching it which is probably the right thing due to the obscene and horrifying images of Rosie O’Donnell et al.
“You’re immature!” Snark! You’re also right! Funny as hell!
