Maybe the IBD staff didn’t know that and I bet many didn’t especially those who who are not from Florida, especially someone like myself
It’s disingenuous to say that McCollum was against the AZ bill until polls made him change his mind. He said he was against a bill for Florida similiar to the first AZ bill that was worded that people could be stopped and asked for documentation without prior cause to be stopped.
Once the AZ bill wording was changed to allow request of documentation only after prior cause for being stopped he was in support.
