Uh oh!
My dad told me that it is no wonder you find these sorts of people in positions where they have access to kids, because normal people cannot STAND kids!
I read a book that interviewed various long term cops. One investigated these kinds of crimes. I vivdly remember some key points.
Most often, friends/associates/relatives of the pedophiles are surpised to find out that they are a pedophile - these sleazy ones are masters at hiding it.
Also, that pedophiles decide at an early age that they like young ones - they will often base their lifestyles and careers around their perversion - thus, they become priests, pastors, teachers, coaches, etc. to spin their web around the venues of children.
Also, look out for the teacher, coach, cop, etc. who is TOO cool around children/teenagers - they have X-boxes, Itunes, sports cars - they know the latist lingo and fashions - even when they do not have kids of their own! - comments by parents/associates will be "he is so great with kids"
