The ones that count are those that sit on the Judiciary Committee like Lamar Smith. If the GOP retakes the House then I expect legislation to pass there.

In the Senate it may or may not die but if it does it'll be an issue in 2012. So the open border clowns including Huckabee and Romney can forget about it.

Remember when the “conservatives” used to belittle, bedevil and SLAM Libertarians for their open border stances? The early days of FR were full of those wars, the archives I am sure are full of the scars and carnage. Now it is a supposed “Republican” platform to “comprehensively” reform......another phrase for open borders.
