The issue with the House Post Office was much more complex than postage.
Under Dan and the House Dems control the House Post Office was kind of a no interest loan counter. They used it to Kite checks from congressmen. A Congress member would go in there and write check for $10,000 and be assured it wouldn’t even begin to approach the bank for a week or two and if returned would sit for a couple of months before anyone brought it up.
There was a long list of such misuse of public money and trust that ended up putting ol’ Dan in an Orange Suit.
