It was 52 degrees last night coming out of the SF airport last night at 10 PM — 3 degrees away from the 40s! Brrr.
California has some strange temperatures along the coast. When I booked my April trip to San Diego, I never considered that it would be much warmer back home in Minnesota while I was there.
One thing I always noticed about SF, was that every place always left their doors open and there was nothing to sit on that wasn’t the outside temperature.
Going into restaurants and sitting down in cold chairs, touching everything cold meant that there never seemed to be a chance to warm up and relax completely. It was like being at a ski resort.
And nobody heats their house because “almost 60 degrees out!”.
